From first-shot fundamentals to advanced concealed carry, Big Brotha Ballistics delivers hands-on instruction that builds real confidence — in a safe, professional environment right here in our community.
Whether you're picking up a firearm for the first time or refining tactical skills, our courses are designed to meet you where you are and take you further.
Meet Alabama's requirements with a thorough, legally compliant concealed carry course. We cover state law, safe handling, de-escalation, and live-fire proficiency — all in a supportive setting.
Never handled a firearm before? You're in the right place. Our beginner courses start with the absolute basics — grip, stance, sight alignment, and trigger control — in a patient, judgment-free environment.
Go beyond the range. Learn situational awareness, defensive shooting fundamentals, and decision-making under stress — skills that matter when seconds count and there's no time to think.
Bring the family, your coworkers, or train one-on-one with personalized attention. We accommodate small groups and individual schedules — because everyone learns differently.
Book supervised range sessions to practice what you've learned. Our facility provides a safe, well-equipped environment with instructors on hand to offer guidance and corrections.
Instill responsibility, safety, and respect for firearms early. Our youth programs are designed for teens and families who want to build a foundation of safe handling and marksmanship together.
Big Brotha Ballistics was founded on a simple belief: that responsible firearm ownership and competent marksmanship should be accessible to everyone in our community — not just those with prior experience.
Based right here in Hueytown, we bring a level of personal attention and professional rigor to every course we offer. Our instruction is hands-on, patient, and tailored to your goals — whether that's earning a concealed carry permit, feeling comfortable with your first handgun, or sharpening skills you've had for years.
We take pride in our local presence because we know our students by name. This isn't a franchise operation that rotates instructors through town — it's a community-focused training center where your safety and success are the only metrics that matter.
Real feedback from real people who trusted us with their training.
"I had zero experience with firearms before coming to Big Brotha Ballistics. The instructor made me feel completely at ease from day one. I passed my concealed carry test with confidence and now I feel prepared in a way I never expected."
"Brought my teenage son for a private session and it was an incredible experience for both of us. The emphasis on safety and responsibility was exactly what we wanted. This is the kind of training our community needs more of."
"I've taken courses at other places before and they always felt rushed. Here, nothing felt hurried. They actually want you to get it right, not just check a box. I've already signed up for my next advanced class."
Whether you need a concealed carry certification or want to build your skills from the ground up, Big Brotha Ballistics is here for you. Reach out today — we'd love to hear from you.
